- Defended Massachusetts Highway Department in largest Eminent Domain claim in Massachusetts’ history (Analex Building Housing Bruins and Celtics offices adjacent to Boston Garden, taken for the "Big Dig"). Obtained verdict less than 1/3 of exposure, saving client $40 million.

- Obtained a $3.55 million jury verdict in eminent domain case on behalf of a national self-storage operator, more than doubling the amount offered by the taking authority for land taken for a commuter rail station. One of the 10 largest verdicts of 1998.

- Obtained a $1.27 million jury verdict in eminent domain case against a city for woodland taken for a refuse landfill, where the city had offered the landowners only $43,000.

Medical Malpractice

- Obtained a $700,000 medical malpractice settlement for family of a 69-year-old woman who died when her gastroenterologist allegedly failed to diagnose her intestinal eschemia.

Labor/Employment

- Successfully defended the non-union cleaning contract company of a high rise office building in Hartford, CT, in a union brought Unfair Labor Practice claim before the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB), saving the client hundreds of thousands of dollars in pay claims.

- Successfully settled employment discrimination claims and sexual harassment claims on behalf of employees, achieving results in the five and six figure ranges.
